Terms and Conditions of Use
Last updated: 2026-10-04
These Terms govern access to and use of SoccerLink, both the website and the mobile app (the "Platform"). By using the Platform you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
The Community Guidelines, the Copyright Policy and the Privacy Policy form part of these Terms.
1. Who we are
The Platform is operated by SoccerLink: [RAZÓN SOCIAL Y DOMICILIO PENDIENTES]. Tax ID: [NIF / CIF]. Contact email: [EMAIL DE CONTACTO LEGAL]. Website: https://soccerlink.app.
2. What SoccerLink is
SoccerLink is a showcase for football talent. On the website we build professional profiles of players and football professionals with a curated model: our team creates every profile and validates the data. The website also lets verified clubs, coaches and agents discover talent and, with authorisation, contact players.
The mobile app adds a social layer: players post photos and short videos, and users can follow each other, like, comment, send each other private text messages, block and report. The feed is chronological. The app tells you who follows you and who likes or comments on your posts.
Private messages are between two people. If you write to someone who does not follow you, it reaches them as a request and you can send up to 3 messages until they reply. You cannot write to someone who has blocked you or whom you have blocked. If someone reports a message, our moderation team can see that message, and only that one.
The exception is the official "SoccerLink." chat, which every user has pinned in their messages. There you talk to the SoccerLink team, not to another person: administrators read and answer it, and whatever you write (for example, a change you want on your profile) goes into your file for us to review. We also send you questionnaires through that chat. The official chat cannot be deleted, blocked or reported, and it has no 3-message limit.
3. Who can use the Platform
- You must be at least 16 years old. The rule is the same in every country where we operate.
- The first time you open the app we ask for your year of birth. If you are under 16, you cannot use the app. There is no exception with parental or guardian consent.
- If you give us a false age and we find out, we will close the account.
4. Your account
- SoccerLink is invitation only. The SoccerLink team decides who gets an account. You cannot create a new account in the app: you sign in with an account that already exists.
- To post you need your own player profile. Accounts without a player profile can view, follow, like and comment, but not post.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for what is done from your account. Tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised use.
- Other users of the Platform can see your profile and your public posts, and profiles published on the website can be seen without an account.
- You can mark a post as private, and switch it from private to public or back whenever you like. A private post can only be seen by you (it shows a padlock on your profile) and the SoccerLink team. It does not appear in the feed, on your profile for others or in notifications.
- In the app settings you can say whether you are active or retired. It is public: it appears on your profile.
- Your football role and the short description on your profile are set by the SoccerLink team. If you want to change them, ask us in the official chat.
5. Your content and the licence you give us
Your content means the photos, videos, captions, comments and data you post or provide to us.
- Your content remains yours. You do not transfer ownership or copyright to us.
- So that we can provide the service, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, technically adapt (for example, resize a photo or convert a video into other formats) and display your content within the Platform. We use it for that purpose only.
- In addition, because the service we provide is building and maintaining your professional profile, you allow us to use your posts, including private ones, and the material you send us as the basis for creating and updating your web profile: choosing photos and videos, cropping them, describing them and showing them on that profile. We do not use them for anything else or pass them on to third parties.
- That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for anything we must keep by law or to handle a claim (see the Privacy Policy). When you delete a post, its files are kept for 30 days in a bin only the team can see, so that material can also be taken off your web profile if needed; then they are erased.
- App limits: each post carries up to 10 photos and videos, mixed, and each video lasts up to 60 seconds. Captions can be up to 2,000 characters and each comment up to 500.
- When you post a photo we remove its metadata (EXIF), including GPS location.
6. Match footage and third-party rights
Appearing in a video or a photo does not make it yours. Many highlights are filmed by a club, a university, a league, a broadcaster or a photographer, and the rights belong to them.
- You may only post content that is yours or that you have permission to share. By posting, you confirm this.
- If other people appear in your content, especially minors, you need the right to show their image.
- Crests, trademarks and broadcasts of clubs, leagues and media outlets belong to their own owners.
- If someone tells us that content infringes their rights, we will review it and may remove it. The procedure and the repeat infringer policy are in the Copyright Policy.
7. What is not allowed
You agree to:
- Provide truthful information and keep it up to date.
- Not impersonate anyone or claim false data or achievements.
- Not use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent or rights-infringing purposes.
- Not extract content in bulk or by automated means (scraping) without authorisation.
- Follow the Community Guidelines, which set out which content and behaviour are not accepted.
8. Moderation, removal and suspension
- We review content that is reported and content flagged by our filters. We may hide or remove content that breaches these Terms, the Guidelines or the law.
- Depending on severity and repetition, we may suspend your ability to post (you can still view and comment) or suspend your whole account, either temporarily (until an end date) or indefinitely. A temporary suspension ends on its own on the stated date.
- In serious or repeated cases we may permanently delete a piece of content or close your account, with the same effect as if you deleted it yourself (section 10).
- Anyone who builds up breaches or valid copyright removals first loses the ability to post and then the account.
- Sexual content involving minors and threats are treated as urgent, may lead to immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, are reported to the authorities.
- When we remove your content or suspend your account we will tell you why by email, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it. You can ask us to review the decision: the procedure is in the Guidelines.
9. Blocking and reporting
- You can block any user from the app. When you block someone, you stop following each other in both directions and neither of you will see the other's profile or content. Unblocking does not restore previous follows.
- You can report a post, a comment or a user from the app. We do not tell anyone who reported them.
- If you do not have an account, you can notify us of illegal content or copyright infringement through the contact and takedown form.
10. Deleting your account
- You can delete your account from the app settings. There will also be a web page to do it.
- Deleting is not the same as marking your profile as inactive or retired. When you delete, your content stops being visible straight away, and then your photos and videos (including private ones and those in the bin, without waiting for the 30 days), your follows, likes, comments, conversations and notifications are erased.
- Deleting the account also deletes your professional profile on the website, with its seasons and data. It cannot be undone.
- Some data is kept where the law requires it or to handle pending reports. Reports other people made about your content are kept without data that identifies the reporter. Your profile's public address (for example /p/your-name) stays reserved so nobody can use it to impersonate you. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
11. Our content
The SoccerLink brand, design, the website's editorial texts and the software are protected by intellectual and industrial property rights. Reproduction without authorisation is not permitted.
12. Accuracy and the curated model
We work to keep profile data accurate and checked against its source. Even so, the Platform is provided "as is": we do not guarantee it is error free or always up to date. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it.
Content posted by users is not reviewed before it is published and is the responsibility of whoever posts it. Once we know content is unlawful, we will remove it.
13. Future paid services
The Platform is free. In the future we may offer optional paid services. Any paid service will have its own conditions, which you will accept expressly before purchasing.
14. Limitation of liability
SoccerLink is a visibility and connection tool. We are not a party to the relationships, negotiations or contracts that arise between players, clubs, coaches or agents, and we do not guarantee any outcome (signings, trials or opportunities). To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the Platform.
15. Third-party links and services
The Platform may contain links to third-party sites (for example, YouTube videos or social networks). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or policies.
16. Changes to the Terms and availability
- We may change the Platform or suspend the service for maintenance or technical reasons.
- Each version of these Terms and of the Guidelines has a date that identifies it. The current version is always on this page.
- If we change the Terms or the Guidelines in a relevant way, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the app. Until you accept it you will not be able to keep using it. We record which version you accepted and when.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, and unless consumer law gives you the right to another forum, the parties submit to the courts of [LOCALIDAD / JURISDICCIÓN].
